Solstice Solargraphy Workshop: In this two-part hands-on workshop participants will learn about Solargraphy, a long-exposure photographic technique that captures the passage of the sun over a duration of time. We will explore various approaches of how to use Solargraphy, its history and the magic of how it works. This workshop is suitable for adults and teenagers. No previous experience necessary. All materials provided.
Workshop Fee $75 email brendaclairestuart@gmail.com to register Session One: December 14th, 2024 11:00- 1:30 University of Manitoba, Tier Building, Room 409: Participants will create their own basic pinhole camera, load it with light-sensitive paper and receive full instruction on how to set out the camera for optimal results. Session Two: Spring 2025, date and location TBA. Session Two: The reveal! We will scan, digitally process and share the results.
